Terms of Service

About these terms

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using PickMyWeb. By creating an account, building a website or publishing one with us, you agree to them.

Using PickMyWeb

PickMyWeb provides ready-launch websites and the business systems behind them — ordering, bookings, payments, customer management and an owner dashboard. Building is free: you can create a draft, customise it in the editor and preview it without paying. Publishing on a subdomain or your own domain requires a paid plan.

You agree to use the platform lawfully, to keep your account credentials secure, and not to use the service to distribute harmful, illegal or infringing content.

Accounts, plans and limits

Each plan — Starter, Pro, Business and Enterprise — includes a set number of drafts, published websites and custom domains, together with the features listed on our Pricing page. If you exceed a limit you will be asked to upgrade or to unpublish a site before publishing another. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time; see the Subscription Terms.

Custom build projects

You can request a fully custom website instead of a ready-made one. We reply with a written proposal that sets the scope, price, currency, timeline and milestones. Work starts once you accept the proposal and pay the first milestone or deposit. Milestone payments are for work already delivered, and changes outside the agreed scope may require a new proposal. A custom build may still need a subscription to stay hosted and published.

Content and ownership

You keep ownership of the text, images, logos, products, menu items and other content you upload. PickMyWeb retains ownership of the platform, templates, editor and dashboard software. You may not resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the platform itself.

Your customers' data

When your published site takes orders, bookings or enquiries, that information belongs to you. You decide what you collect and are responsible for the legal notices shown to your own customers; PickMyWeb stores and processes the data on your behalf so you can manage it from your dashboard.

Custom domains and publishing

If you connect a custom domain, you are responsible for configuring the DNS records we provide. We issue and renew SSL automatically once the domain is verified. We cannot guarantee that every registrar or DNS provider will work without additional configuration.

Acceptable use

Automated abuse, spam submissions, fraudulent orders and attempts to bypass our rate limits or security controls are not allowed. We may block traffic, suspend a site or close an account that puts the platform or other customers at risk.

Limitations and liability

PickMyWeb is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the platform reliable, but we are not liable for downtime, data loss, or issues caused by third parties such as payment processors, hosting providers or domain registrars.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or cause harm to the platform or other users.
